Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Communicate patient status and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with applicable standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to start
• Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule of 40 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
