Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – permanent Ohio license or Compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience prior to travel
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start
- No open license actions or background hits accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
- Demonstrated charge nurse or leadership experience within the specialty
