Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Support complex PCIs, peripheral cases, and occasional device procedures
• Assist with Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump management
• Operate and maintain unit equipment including GE X-ray and MacLab systems
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain a patient ratio of 3 staff per room in a fast-paced, high-volume cath lab environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligible in Virginia)
• RCIS or RT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab
• Ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
• Professional conduct and strong attendance record

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume cath lab handling complex cases
• Easygoing, kind, and team-oriented personality well-suited to a busy lab setting
