Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5
• Administer assessments, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards of care
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to like units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• First-time travel nurses are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, high-acuity hospital environment such as a Level I Trauma Center or teaching facility
• Familiarity with Magnet hospital standards and culture
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across similar units
