Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET Technologist

Contract | Days | 4x10 or 5x8 shifts | Start times vary between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET imaging as the primary function of the role, with potential float coverage to Nuclear Medicine as needed
- Operate and maintain PET and nuclear medicine imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established safety and regulatory guidelines
- Document and chart patient information accurately using electronic health record systems
- Participate in on-call rotation, including post-shift call and rotating weekends as required
- Float between facilities within the state as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
- Active California state license required and must be in hand prior to start
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- Minimum 6 months of PET imaging experience required (hard stop)
- PET certification is not required, but applicable nuclear medicine certification combined with PET experience is mandatory
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment strongly preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with 2 or more years of total experience
