Key Responsibilities
- Position patients for x-ray imaging of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, and ankle
- Perform imaging procedures independently without direct supervision, operate x-ray equipment, process images, and document into PACS
- Provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, and preparing patients for clinician evaluation
- Obtain specimens including blood draws (if qualified) and assist clinicians as needed
- Maintain an orderly, well-stocked work area with appropriate supplies and equipment
- Float to Main Radiology department as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
- Current ARRT licensure
- California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
- Current CPR Certification
- EPIC EMR experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience
