Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12-hour shifts) | 13–26 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric general Medical-Surgical patients on a unit with a daily census of approximately 43
• Manage insulin drips, heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Serve in a charge nurse role as required for night shift travelers
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding as needed
• Participate in assigned Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters
• Work every other weekend and a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active NC or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (required)
• Demonstrated ability to manage insulin and heparin drips
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Ability to work holidays and care for patients with infectious conditions including COVID-19

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Prior charge nurse experience
