Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a home health setting
- Carry out treatment plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Coordinate scheduling and patient visits across assigned caseload during standard weekday hours
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina PTA license required prior to start date (pending license considered)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience (2 years preferred; considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; requests made after submission will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Home health experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
