Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: June 15, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Burn ICU setting with a 12-bed unit, maintaining appropriate patient ratios (ICU 2:1; Med/Surg and PCU 4:1)
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with Charge RN, fellow RNs, and PCTs to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Fulfill scheduling requirements including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Float to other units as needed per contract labor floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Med/Surg experience meeting patient experience requirements
- Ability to comply with dress code requirements (navy scrubs)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or Burn ICU environment
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
- Experience working with ventilator-dependent patients and CRRT
