Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient population
- Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with care plans and clinical protocols
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment appropriate to patient acuity
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
- May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs depending on experience
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
- Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric and neonatal respiratory care environments
