Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (5:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Manage patient ratios of 1:3, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Float between like units or affiliate facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
• Participate in orientation (approximately 36 hours) and complete required compliance modules prior to and during assignment
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery and postpartum nursing experience required
• Valid California RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (locals not accepted)
• Must be willing to float to sister or affiliate facilities nearby

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
