Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30–16:00) or 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:30–18:00) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures within scope of practice
• Operate imaging equipment and assist with IR procedures during day shift hours
• Participate in one weekday on-call shift per week and one weekend on-call rotation approximately every two months
• Chart and document accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Float within scope of practice to other areas within the facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active Virginia state license required; candidates with a pending Virginia license will be considered, but license must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted for this position)
• References required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures setting
• Familiarity with on-call responsibilities in a hospital-based radiology environment
