Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 8-Hour Days, 40 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a triage nurse within an outpatient oncology clinic, managing patient communications and coordinating care for assigned providers
• Conduct patient triage via phone calls and in-clinic interactions, relaying results and addressing patient concerns
• Provide patient education related to oncology diagnoses, treatment plans, and coordinating care
• Support care coordination and follow-up for patients with Medical Oncology and Non-Malignant Hematology diagnoses
• Document patient interactions and clinical information using EPIC and SBAR communication frameworks
• Float to similar outpatient centers or clinics as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with outpatient oncology experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Current BLS certification
• Must supply own stethoscope
• No call or weekend requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and IV insertion, though chemo and infusion are not performed at this location
• Prior travel nursing experience in an outpatient oncology setting
