Job Title
- IR Technologist (Travel) – Interventional Radiology
Location
- Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work
- Assist with stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases
- Operate advanced imaging equipment such as Philips bi-plane and GE single-plane systems in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and radiologic technologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient care during outpatient and inpatient procedures, including on-call responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months current IR tech experience
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) registration
- Active Kansas state licensure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with stroke and trauma procedures
- Experience working in large trauma facilities
- Flexibility and resilience handling stressful cases
- Positive attitude and strong patient care focus
