Travel RN – Behavioral Health (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a behavioral health/psychiatric setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for behavioral health patients
• Monitor patient safety and therapeutic environment in accordance with unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive psychiatric care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric specialty
• Experience working in a large, acute care or regional referral hospital setting
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention protocols
