Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | 6-week assignment with potential extension to 8 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during overnight shifts
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
- Participate in weekend shift rotation, covering 6 weekend shifts within the 6-week schedule
- Fulfill holiday shift requirements on a rotational basis
- Float to other affiliated ICU locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Passed EKG test required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Familiarity with multi-site or system-level ICU environments
