Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Option for 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite | Self-Schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform IV insertions and other core nursing skills as required by the unit
- Document patient information and communicate using SBAR methodology
- Administer and manage medications utilizing Omnicell and document via Meditech
- Work every other weekend, fulfilling a minimum of two shifts per weekend requirement
- Participate in unit orientation, including one day of on-site training with an educator
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in starting IVs
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation and Omnicell medication management systems
