Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Evaluate and treat patients at a 1:1 ratio across assigned units
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and clinical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid state Physical Therapist license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with travel contract compliance processes and documentation requirements
