Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Holiday rotation required | Up to 1 weekend shift per month | Up to 4 on-call shifts per month including up to 2 weekend call shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a broad range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
- Collaborate within a nurse-driven OR team composed of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required
- Participate in on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holiday rotation as scheduled
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
