CT Scan Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scan procedures across varying caseloads in a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital environment
- Operate Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon Counting (Somaris 10) and Siemens X.Cite (Somaris 10) imaging equipment
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facility locations as required
- Participate in holiday rotation schedule as assigned
- During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification required
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
- State-equivalent radiology licensure – RT(R)(CT) – required and must be active/in hand at time of start
- Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Agency-supplied radiation badge required (facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers)
- Previous perm or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year prior to starting as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year of CT Scan Technologist experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with Siemens imaging equipment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic charting system is a plus
