Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, monitor, and triage patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Interpret and respond to EKG findings as part of routine emergency care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Participate in holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification; must pass an EKG competency test (80% or higher) on first day of orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
- Strong critical thinking and rapid patient assessment skills
