Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, monitor, and triage patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions
• Perform and interpret EKG readings as part of routine emergency care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as needed
• Complete a 16-hour facility orientation prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification and ability to pass an EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher at orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and rapid patient assessment skills in emergency care environments
