Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call required approximately 10–12 days per month (1500–0630) and on-call 48 hours on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and support cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and peripheral procedures
• Participate in pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implant procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular invasive equipment within the cath lab environment
• Document patient information and procedural data accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Function as an active member of a collaborative cath lab team alongside RNs and CV technologists
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including evenings, overnight, and weekend coverage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
• Active ACLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Active BLS certification (required — candidates without will not be considered)
• Demonstrated experience with cardiovascular invasive procedures and equipment
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations per unit requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Collaborative, team-oriented work style with strong communication skills
