Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: March 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management across inpatient units including two 10-bed ICUs
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Operate and manage equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Rotate throughout all inpatient units as part of the facility's floating policy
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary nursing unit rounding and collaborate with multiple care teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Utilize AIDET framework to meet patient experience standards and document care using Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Demonstrated competency in critical care and emergency care settings
• Experience with ventilator management and BiPAP in an acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an ICU or high-acuity inpatient environment
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Comfort performing a broad scope of respiratory therapy procedures at the top of licensure
