Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Days, 4x10s (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a 12-room operating room department at a Level 3 trauma center
• Function across multiple surgical service lines including general, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, and GYN procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage, including call until 11:00 PM per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date
• Adhere to facility protocols, charting requirements in Epic, and radiation safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting
• Well-rounded surgical competency across general, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, and GYN service lines
• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license preferred and must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by the placing agency prior to start
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers considered if candidate demonstrates broad surgical specialty competency
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Level 3 trauma center environments and associated protocols
