Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant license — permanent state license required; compact license not accepted
• Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
• Must have been separated from any previous employment at this facility for a minimum of one year to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation platforms
