Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and therapy goals
• Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient rehabilitation and functional independence
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification through NBCOT
• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant license in South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
