Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00–15:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization procedures including transplant right/left heart biopsy, balloon procedures, stent placement, and valve placement
• Assist with interventional radiology (IR) cases, preferably in a pediatric setting
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately 8–10 call shifts per month with weekend coverage
• Operate within a two-room cath lab environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols and wearing a required radiation badge
• Document and chart patient care accurately, with preference for EPIC proficiency
• Participate in facility emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) certification required, or CCI with RCIS or RCES certification
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by the staffing agency)
• Must be willing and able to fulfill on-call requirements including weekend shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab setting strongly preferred
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
• CCI certification with RCIS or RCES designation preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
