Registered Nurse – Oncology (Infusion)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy to oncology patients in a clinical infusion setting
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float within the hospital as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license (must be active or pending with a clearly stated ETA)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated chemotherapy administration competency
- Recent hands-on experience with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current AHA ACLS or PALS certification
- Prior experience in an infusion or outpatient oncology setting
