Registered Nurse – Vascular Access

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled vascular access nursing care in an acute care setting during overnight shifts
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot vascular access devices including peripheral IVs, PICCs, and central lines
• Assess patients for appropriate vascular access needs and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Monitor patients for complications related to vascular access and respond appropriately
• Document all assessments, procedures, and patient responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in vascular access or a related specialty
• Proficiency with vascular access device insertion and management
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) credential
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access techniques
