Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging
Location
Asheville, North Carolina
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic radiology procedures including portable imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopic procedures, and surgical/OR imaging
- Operate radiology equipment including GE fixed and portable units, C-arms, and O-arms in a high-volume hospital setting
- Utilize electronic medical record and radiology information systems to document and manage imaging orders and results
- Collaborate with clinical teams in the Emergency Department and operating room to support trauma and surgical imaging needs
- Participate in weekend rotation as required by department scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
- Demonstrated proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
- Experience with ED trauma imaging
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing fluoroscopic procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner Rad Net or similar radiology EMR platforms
- Experience with GE radiology equipment, OEC C-arms, or Medtronic O-arms
