Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | Variable Schedule | Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-volume Operating Room environment across multiple surgical service lines
• Support procedures in general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and adhere to all surgical safety and sterile field protocols
• Accurately document patient care activities using the Cerner electronic documentation system
• Adhere to a variable schedule including on-call responsibilities as required
• Float to other departments as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Must hold a valid CST certification
• Skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Orthopedic, and Vascular service lines — no exceptions
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to variable scheduling and multi-department float assignments
