Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography and ultrasound/sonography procedures within a radiology and cardiology department at an acute care hospital
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
- Document and chart patient imaging data accurately using facility charting systems
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and timely delivery of imaging results
- Float between facilities within the state as operationally required
- Fulfill holiday shift commitments as required per assignment terms
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo/Ultrasound Sonographer
- Active California state license in hand prior to start
- Valid LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Must disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Mediteach or similar electronic charting systems
- Prior experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying clinical environments and float assignments
