Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (19:00–05:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in an acute hospital setting in accordance with department protocols and scope of practice
- Float to like units or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
- Provide weekend coverage as determined by staffing needs, which may occur more frequently than every other weekend
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records system
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, safety standards, and imaging protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist state license (pending license accepted; must have license in hand prior to start)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience; first-time travelers accepted
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
- Familiarity with radiology and cardiology imaging environments
- Experience working in high-volume acute care hospital settings
