Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (4x10 Hours, 7:00–17:30) | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures including right and left heart catheterization
- Assist with cardiac stent placement and related interventional procedures
- Circulate procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Participate in on-call rotation covering weeknights and weekends (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float between facilities within the state as assignment needs require
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (hard stop)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not eligible)
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of overall RN experience
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
