Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Tuesday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with 11 operating rooms and a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and robotic surgery
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems, laparoscopic towers, microscopes, and endovascular hybrid room equipment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Adapt to varied room assignments and case types based on daily departmental needs, including potential weekend and call coverage
• Occasionally assist in the orientation and preceptorship of new graduate RNs or surgical technicians as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of general OR experience
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery
• Ability to work varied shift lengths (8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts) based on unit need
• Willingness to take call as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma surgery experience in an OR setting
• Vascular surgery experience including fistula creations and endarterectomy procedures
• Familiarity with procedures such as CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, craniotomy, robotic-assisted surgery, and total joint replacement
• Experience with Meditech EMR
