Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite | Acute Care Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Participate in on-call coverage, including one call shift per six-week rotation
• Work one Saturday shift per six-week rotation as part of the standard schedule
• Float to like units as needed, including potential float to a nearby affiliated facility
• Complete required annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment
• Commit to working three of five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Los Angeles fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
• Flexibility with scheduling, including block schedule requests at manager discretion
