Schedule / Job Type

  • Full-time, Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-screen and prepare perfusion lines for cannulation
  • Assist with various cardiovascular surgical procedures, including valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and transcatheter procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and support intraoperative team
  • Ensure compliance with procedural protocols and safety standards
  • Collaborate with surgical and perfusion teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar environment
  • Valid CVOR certification or relevant cardiovascular operating room experience
  • BCLS and NBSTSA certifications required
  • Experience with vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgery procedures
  • Ability to receive perfusion lines and prepare them for cannulation

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience with complex cardiac surgeries such as TAVR, TEVAR, or heart & lung transplant
  • Familiarity with intraoperative vascular and thoracic case management
  • Ability to float within hospital departments as needed
