Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Thursday–Sunday (Week 1), Friday–Sunday (Week 2) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT and X-ray imaging procedures, including care for pediatric patients
- Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel with timely follow-up
- Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient
- Support patient throughput by demonstrating flexibility across shifts and locations as needed
- Participate in ongoing quality assurance, safety initiatives, and continuing education within scope of licensure
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB)
- ARRT or NMTCB certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic and Sectra systems
- Hands-on experience operating Canon CT and Siemens X-ray equipment
- Prior experience working with pediatric patient populations
