Multispecialty Ultrasound / Echo Technologist (Vascular & Cardiology)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound imaging including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, and transvaginal studies
- Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations as part of a multispecialty imaging role
- Perform echocardiography procedures including adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill studies
- Participate in on-call coverage from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
- Operate within a short-term acute care environment at a Level IV Trauma Center with a patient ratio of 8:1
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a multispecialty ultrasound/echo technologist
- Proficiency in general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiography (full body tech capability required)
- Experience with fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Valid state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Ability to commit to on-call requirements including weekends
- Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a short-term acute care or trauma center setting
- Demonstrated flexibility to support sister facility float needs as required by assignment
