Location: Overland Park, KS

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, travel assignment, dayshift, 8-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to inpatient rehab patients
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS, and Xcite during patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Assist in caring for patients with acute care or rehab needs, maintaining patient ratios of 8-10 acute or 4 rehab patients
• Support unit operations during weekend shifts, working Saturday and Sunday as required

Required Qualifications:

• Valid occupational therapy license in the state of Kansas
• BLS certification
• Experience working in inpatient rehab settings preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Inpatient rehab experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Experience with occupational therapy evaluations and treatments in a hospital environment
