Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5
- Assist with and support care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
- Collaborate with RNs and CNAs across day shift in a team-oriented environment
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other units as needed to meet staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with standard hospital equipment and electronic medical records
- Strong teamwork skills and compassionate patient-centered approach
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
- Experience caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions
