Contract | Days and/or Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week) | Day Shift: 7:00–19:00 | Night Shift: 19:30–7:30 | Onsite | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting with patient ratios of 1:1–2
• Manage and monitor critically ill patients experiencing conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, multisystem organ failure, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CRRT, IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and ventilators
• Perform IV starts and manage telemetry monitoring for high-acuity patients
• Administer and document care using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Support specialized unit procedures including continuous glucose monitoring and externalized IV pump management for isolation patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
• Valid RN license (compact or state license must be in hand at time of submission)
• EPIC experience required
• Active BCLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required (AHA only)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Hands-on experience with NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pump, GE Cardiac Monitor, and GE Ventilator
• Clinical experience managing COVID-positive patients in an ICU environment
