Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers for the purpose of diagnosing disease and injury
• Operate CT imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and departmental standards
• Work under the supervision of a Radiologist to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all CT scanning procedures
• Document and communicate imaging findings appropriately within the clinical workflow

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related program
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N), or CNMT certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, required
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in a CT imaging environment
• Familiarity with radiology information systems and PACS
