Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patient populations
- Deliver high-acuity care at a Level 4 care designation for neonatal and pediatric patients
- Float to satellite NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations as operationally required
- Maintain compliance with all facility credentialing, fingerprinting, and annual module requirements
- Adhere to a nicotine-free and smoke-free workplace policy, including passing a 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- NBRC certification – active and in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification – active and in hand at time of submission
- Advanced NRP and PALS certifications – active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PEDS, PICU, and/or NICU (Level 4 high-acuity care)
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across multiple NICU or pediatric specialty units
- Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal and cardiovascular intensive care environments
