Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns in a Mother Baby unit
• Monitor maternal and neonatal health status, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV starts and administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems
• May float to units of similar patient acuity as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum / Mother Baby nursing experience
• Active RN license – valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• BLS and IV certification required
• Demonstrated IV start skills
• Labor and delivery (L&D) experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
