Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across a variety of case types including orthopedic, neurological, gait and balance, and pain management conditions
• Provide pre- and post-operative surgical rehabilitation and work compensation therapy
• Perform soft tissue mobilization, instrument-guided soft tissue mobilization, and manual therapy techniques
• Implement therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education programs
• Document patient care and progress accurately using electronic health record systems
• Float within the facility or to affiliate locations as required

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Physical Therapist state license (must be in hand prior to start date)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Proficiency with electronic health record charting systems
• Willingness and ability to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate locations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records platform
• Background in instrument-guided soft tissue mobilization techniques
