Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU setting
- Manage patient assignments with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
- Operate and monitor unit-specific equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and respiratory therapists on night shift
- Float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby (babies only) as needed
- Adhere to unit dress code (navy blue scrubs) and all applicable unit guidelines and policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced neonatal environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
- NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal procedures and advanced neonatal care
