Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed ICU environment encompassing Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical-Surgical ICU units
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, or 2–3 depending on patient acuity
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed and fulfill weekend and holiday requirements as assigned
• Participate in scheduled orientation sessions as required prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of strong ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro or Cardiac ICU settings
• Proficiency with EPIC charting in a high-acuity environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient acuity levels and unit needs
