Multimodality Technologist – CT & Radiography (Dual Location)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM with one overnight rotation Sunday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM) | Onsite | On-Call Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiographic exams of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment across two facility locations, including a main acute care campus and a freestanding emergency department
• Obtain patient history, explain routine imaging procedures, and address patient concerns prior to and during exams
• Participate in on-call rotation at the freestanding ER location, covering shifts as needed when vacancies arise
• Document and chart patient imaging information accurately using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including wearing a personally provided radiation monitoring badge at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with Computed Tomography experience
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) licensure in both Radiography (R) and CT required
• Completion of an AMA-approved school of radiological technology required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must provide own radiation monitoring badge — badge is not supplied by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital or freestanding emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
• Comfort operating as the sole multimodality technologist on a 12-hour shift
